Where Are The Sheroes?

The ideal demographic in Hollywood, or media in general, is the 18 to 34 year-old male. Perhaps this is why I am not at all excited about the numerous superhero/comic book movies that are coming in the next year or two. I'm over 34 and not the least bit male--all femme here, baby. Some of the titles getting a lot of chatter lately include: GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Iron Man 2, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, The Green Hornet, The Justice League, Thor, and Captain America. Not a female action hero lead among the lot. Although I did read somewhere that a Wonder Woman movie is in the works for 2013. But that's one female in a slew of men. You can't tell me there's not room for more bad ass sheroes that even the boys want to see. Hollywood please get a clue.
