Film Score Share

Today, NPR had a great story about Johnny Mandel, a music composer who scored many films including M*A*S*H.  Here is the link.  The highlight of the story is how Mandel and director Robert Altman went about getting the lyrics written to the iconic  M*A*S*H theme song "Suicide is Painless."  Mandel, who is in his eighties,  will be inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame this June.
