Pimps Don't Cry

That's what I learned when I went to see the new Will Ferrell and Mark "Marky Mark" Wahlberg film The Other Guys.  While it had some funny moments (Ferrell as a college pimp?), I was generally underwhelmed.  I can't tell you why.  The story was decent enough and Wahlberg did a good job playing straight to Ferrell's funny.  Maybe I just don't like buddy cop movies.  I'm a girl like that.  I actually thought the NPR interview with the film's director Adam McKay and Ferrell was more interesting.  OUCH!  Anchmorman was a far funnier McKay and Ferrell concoction, as was their funnyordie.com video The Landlord.  I'd wait for the dvd.  In the meantime, enjoy The Landlord below.
