Xquisite

I wish I could say that I went to see Magic Mike because it's a Steven Soderbergh film or because I wanted to see a compelling story.  But I can't.  I went for the eye candy and  sadly? I wasn't disappointed.  [Am I right ladies?] Although, it would have been nice if there had been some chocolate eye candy--milk or dark, I'm not picky.  While the story wasn't earth-shattering, the overall film worked as a decent vehicle for Channing Tatum to show that he can be nuanced in his acting.  And, also, Tatum really is a great dancer.  But now we can be certain that he is an actor too.  Matthew McConaughey was channeling some weird high priest of male strippers kind of vibe that was on point--part charlatan/ part circus barker-- but slightly irritating at the same time.   And as for the rest of the eye candy: Joe Manganiello, Adam Rodriguez, Matt Bomer, Kevin Nash, and Alex Pettyfer--Bravo!  I can see the sequel now--Magic Mike II: The Miami Kid.  LOL. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
